Style & Splendour: Fashion  Photography and Jewellery of the 1950s and 60s.                                                                                                         on Monday 18th February 2019 at 11am at Lyon & Turnbull, 22 Connaught Street, London, W2 2AF

The exhibition will display limited edition photographic prints of Dior Fashions photographs by Mark Shaw for LIFE between 1952 and 1962, together with jewellery from the same period.   As a leading fashion photographer, Shaw was one of the first to use colour when shooting the runways and backstage at the couture shows. In his 16 years with the magazine, he shot 27 covers, and more than 100 stories which included the magazine’s annual review of the European fashion collections. In October of 2013 Rizzoli published Shaw's Dior, Glamour, which showcases these photographs.
